Privacy Policy
Overview
The Front Page is a free, non-commercial news aggregator. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy covers both the website (thefrontpage.world) and the mobile app (iOS).
Mobile App
The Front Page mobile app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:
- No analytics or tracking SDKs are included in the app
- No user accounts, logins, or registration
- No advertising or ad-related tracking
- No location data is collected
- No contacts, photos, or other device data is accessed
- Your Beat reading history is stored on-device only (via AsyncStorage) and is never sent to any server
- The app fetches a single public JSON file of headlines from GitHub Pages — no cookies or identifiers are included in this request
Website
The website at thefrontpage.world uses:
- Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement (page views, visitor countries, device types). This uses cookies set by Google. No personally identifiable information is collected.
- Google Fonts for typography, which may log IP addresses per Google's privacy policy.
- GitHub Pages for hosting, which may log IP addresses per GitHub's privacy policy.
Beyond these standard services, the website does not collect any personal data.
Data We Collect
We do not collect, store, or process any personal information. There are no user accounts, no email lists, no cookies set by us, and no form submissions.
Third-Party Links
Headlines link to external news sources. When you click a headline, you leave The Front Page and are subject to that site's privacy policy. We have no control over third-party sites.
Children's Privacy
The Front Page does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The service contains no user accounts or data collection mechanisms of any kind.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page. Since the app collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
